Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative

Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI)

European professionals gain hands-on experience in U.S. businesses through a comprehensive fellowship and networking program.

The Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) Fellowship Program offers an unparalleled opportunity for young European business and social entrepreneurs to broaden their horizons, connect with the U.S. business sector, and share innovative ideas and best practices. This comprehensive program, designed to foster transatlantic relationships, includes a mix of virtual engagement and a six-week program in the United States (including a four-week professional fellowship), alongside opportunities for ongoing involvement upon the fellows' return to their home countries.

YTILI fellows are immersed in a dynamic learning environment, beginning with a virtual program launch that introduces them to the upcoming activities. Participants will partake in a specifically designed online entrepreneurship course aimed at enhancing competencies in crucial areas such as networking, leadership, management, and business. Additionally, the program includes professional development sessions and one-on-one communication with American experts, offering personalized guidance and insights into the U.S. business landscape.

The heart of the YTILI experience is the four-week, full-time fellowship placement at a U.S. organization. These placements are carefully matched to each fellow's professional background and interests, ensuring a rich, hands-on learning experience. During their stay, fellows will not only gain firsthand knowledge of U.S. business practices but also contribute to civic engagement through community service opportunities. This engagement serves as a foundation for the development of a follow-on Action Plan proposal, enabling fellows to apply their newly acquired skills and insights to address specific challenges in their home communities.

As alumni, fellows join a prestigious community with access to valuable resources and a wide-reaching network of like-minded professionals across Europe and the United States.
